Election News for 2011:
The Spring election on Tuesday, April 5th 2011, brought out 1,202 voters to the town hall in Institute. The Sevastopol School referendum request passed by a large margin, with 770 yes votes and 306 no votes; Jane Luebker (627) and Jay Zahn (771) received highest votes for the school board. Voters here preferred Supreme Court Justice incumbent David Prosser (666) over challenger Kloppenberg (512). The following town board officers were re-elected: Chairman Leo Zipperer, Supervisor John Staveness and Tom Girman.

Spring Election 2010 - Sevastopol experienced light voter turnout on Tuesday, April 6th for the Spring Election, with 336 electors casting ballots. District 14 County Board Supervisor Leo W. Zipperer and District 15 County Board Supervisor Biz Virlee were re-elected, along with Town Board Supervisors Dan Woelfel and Chuck Tice.

Our Town Hall located at 4528 State Highway 57 in Institute, approximately 6 miles north of Sturgeon Bay and just south of Sevastopol Schools, has been established as the official polling place (where electors/voters cast their vote) for the Town of Sevastopol.
If you wish to see your voting information and ballots for the upcoming election for your ward/district, you can log onto the Government Accountability Board (formerly State Elections Board) at http://vpa.wi.gov/.
