October 1, 2007 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
Our Comprehensive Plan Committee is working diligently with Omnni Associates toward the goal of developing our Comprehensive Plan, which must be in place by 2010. In addition, we have conducted several public meetings and residents have participated in a visioning process to collect thoughts and feelings on the various aspects of our Town and its desired future. With Omnni, the Committee members are in the process of compiling and finalizing various "chapters" of the Plan. To date, the planning process has addressed housing, transportation, utilities & community facilities, agricultural, natural & cultural resources, economic development, existing land use and future land use. Public meetings and hearings will be conducted. Watch your mailbox for postcards informing you of these events with date, time and place.
