NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING & OPEN HOUSE TOWN OF SEVASTOPOL COMPREHENSIVE PLAN Monday, August 11, 2008 – 6:30 p.m. A Public Hearing to discuss the proposed Town of Sevastopol Comprehensive Plan and the adoption of an ordinance to adopt the Comprehensive Plan will be held on Monday, August 11, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. in the multi-purpose room located in Sevastopol School, 4550 Hwy 57, Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. The Public Hearing shall be preceded by an “Open House” beginning at 6:30 p.m. for informal discussion and review of the draft Comprehensive Plan and maps. The proposed Comprehensive Plan in summary contains the following items: Introduction, Issues & Opportunities, Community Profile, Housing, Transportation, Utilities & Community Facilities, Agricultural, Natural & Cultural Resources, Economic Development, Existing Land Use, Future Land Use, Intergovernmental Cooperation, and Implementation. A copy of the draft Comprehensive Plan is available for inspection or may be obtained prior to the hearing by contacting the Town Office at (920) 746-1230, located at 4550 Hwy 57, Sturgeon Bay WI. The proposed plan can also be viewed on the Town website under “Comprehensive Plan” or “Links” at wwwtownofsevastopol.com.
