Bunning, Tom Wade. The Committee studied ordinances from other
communities and the some of the concerns mentioned were abandoned

January 24th, with Corporation Counsel Grant Thomas discussion of

Mr. Hearden requests a refund for overpayment of real estate taxes
for the year 2007. The Clerk confirmed with the assessors at
Associated Appraisal Consultants that as of January 1, 2007, the
improvements on the property located at 4434-1 West Madeline Lane were
40% complete, rather than 100% complete. Accordingly, the improvement
assessment of $232,000 should be adjusted to $91,800, resulting in an
overpayment of $1,338.65. Motion by Girman and seconded by Staveness
to approve the refund of $1,338.65, with statutory interest, subject
to written confirmation from Associated Appraisal on the assessment
correction. Motion carried, unanimously.
